Do you offer finance?
Yes, we offer a variety of different finance options and specialise in funding the types of car we sell. To find out more about the available finance options please visit our finance page.
Who do you use for finance?
We use a panel of finance providers and choose the most appropriate provider for you based on your needs and the car you are purchasing. We use Blackhorse and ? for finance.
Are your cars HPi clear?
Of course! We do not sell any cars that have any suspect history.
Where are you located?
We have two showrooms, on in Leeds, the other in Birmingham. The Leeds showroom is in Kirkstall, just on the outskirts of the city centre. The Birmingham showroom is located a few miles outside of the city centre, just off the A38.
Can you settle the outstanding finance on my car?
Yes we can – if you are selling us your car or part exchanging it we can settle the outstanding finance on your behalf and we will deduct that amount from the final balance.
Can I pay by Credit Card?
We will take a credit card deposit up £500. The balance must be paid by BACs or Debit Card in person.
Do you deliver?
Yes – we can deliver your new car nationwide at a reasonable cost once the complete balance has been paid, which we will agree with you in advance.
Can I drive away the same day?
All our cars must go through a thorough inspection before you drive away. We aim to have all our cars pre-inspected before they are displayed. However, sometimes due to high turnover this will only be done once the order has been placed.
Can you deliver my new car?
Yes we can arrange delivery once the complete balance has been paid. There is a charge for this service and a quote can be provided on request.
Where is the nearest rail station / airport?
There are regular train services from Birmingham New Street Station to Aston Station, then you can catch a bus for the last 2km, or it’s a 30-minute walk. The Kirkstall showroom is only 0.7km from Leeds train station, just a 15-minute walk away.
Leeds Bradford Airport is only 6 miles/ 25 minutes away from the Leeds showroom, and our Birmingham showroom is also well placed for Birmingham airport – only 10 miles away, approximately 25-minute drive.
Selling your car
Do you buy cars for cash?
We are always interested in purchasing the type of stock we sell – high quality sports, prestige, performance, luxury and supercars. We don’t pay in cash but will send the money to your preferred bank account via electronic bank transfer. To find out more click here.
Can you take part exchange?
Yes we can. Please speak with our sale team to get a part exchange valuation for your car or visit our web page to see how we value your car and complete the form.
Will the new car come with a warranty?
Cars less than 3 years old will have the remaining warranty from the manufacturer. Where the manufacturer’s warranty has expired AMT Specialist Cars will provide a 6-month warranty free of charge. We also offer extendable AA Warranties.
Do you offer a warranty?
We do. Most of our cars will still be under manufacturer warranty but we offer a minimum of 6 months warranty with an option to extend the warranty to up to three years. We partner with Warrantywise.
Does the car have service history?
All our cars that have been sourced from our own fleet have been serviced in accordance to the manufactures recommendation.
Can I take a test drive?
Of course. Test drives are available on request and we ask that customers book in advance so we can ensure that the car is available and that you are eligible to drive. Please ensure that you bring your driving licence with you or we will be unable to accommodate you.
How do I tax the car?
We will provide the V5 c/2 ( Green Slip) from the V5. You then need to log onto https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-tax and follow the instructions as a new keeper. We will more than happy to help you with the process.
